UFC 300 Main Event Is Going To Be “Crazy”
“And now, this is the moment UFC fans around the world have all been waiting for, the MAIN EVENT of the evening. ITS TIME!!!”
Who will Bruce Buffer introduce next? UFC 300 (as of now) is missing its main event. Theres a number of fights that make sense, which fight fans would all be pumped about. This can include any of the below:
Israel Adesanya vs Dricus Du Plessis
Belal Muhammad vs Leon Edwards
Connor McGregor vs Micheal Chandler
[Insert title fight that makes sense]
UFC 300 is already an amazing card, and any of the above fights would definitely fit the bill. The question comes into my mind when Dana White keeps talking about how the main even will be “crazy”, or will “blow our minds”. This leads me to believe he has a fight lined up and it’s just a matter of paperwork. It also leads me to believe it’s none of the fights I listed, or any others that may be expected by fans.
Let me continue with this fantasy and see if you agree with how this sounds.

No, it’s not Brock Lesnar. So who is it? It’s gotta be some retired gem come into blow our minds, and to me it’s gotta be one of the GOATs. Nate Diaz, you’re a legend, but you’re not what we are thinking here. There’s only one guess I got.. Khabib Nurmagomedov. I know he’s been ruled out when his coach cleared the air, but I’m sensing smoke and mirrors somewhere, so it mind as well be here.
“The Eagle” won’t be fighting Islam Makhachev for a million reasons, of course being his coach and mentor. So, this leaves a short list of competitors in my mind:
Georges St-Pierre
Connor McGregor
Leon Edwards
My bet, when Bruce Buffer introduces the combatants, it’s Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov vs Georges “Rush” St-Pierre. If he were to fight Leon, it would get in the way of Belal Muhammad, who also trains with the Dagastani, so I do not think he would do that. Another Connor fight doesn’t make sense to me - why come back to do something you already did? Not to mention I do believe Connor is locked into the Micheal Chandler fight.
This matchup gained some traction as both fighters have show interest in fighting in the past. So my prediction for the main event of 300 is something that has already been ruled out by both camps.. however, what would be more mind blowing than two of the greatest of all time going at it?
